D-Link Supports Largest LAN Event In Canada!

Hosted annually in the Mayfield Trade Centre in Edmonton, Alberta over the weekend of July 21st - 24th, Fragapalooza emerges from 50,000 square feet lined with power cables and a blazing fast D-Link Gigabit network. Last year, close to one thousand gamers, from around the world gathered at the venue for the 4 day event. Each with a computer in hand, these gamers connected their machines to our massive network and interacted in games ranging from Battlefield 1942 to Counter-Strike to Quake 3 Arena. Complementing the Local Area Network (LAN) at this year’s event are presentations from leading technology companies such as Intel, Nvidia and Bioware. Wrapped together with official tournaments, prize giveaways, and an active environment of fun challenges, participants at the event are kept busy day and night as the event runs 24 hours a day from start to finish.
